So, what's the process?

Step 1:

First, we’ll catch up for a no-obligation chat—either over coffee or a video call—to see if we’re the right fit. We’ll discuss your vision, the date, and the logistics. If you decide I’m the right celebrant for you, we’ll secure your date with a booking fee and a service agreement.

Step 2:

We get the serious stuff sorted early so you don’t have to stress. At least one month before the big day, we will meet to complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) and confirm your identifies and eligibility to marry.

Step 3:

Now for the fun part. I’ll ask you to complete a couples questionnaire to learn the details of your story: how you met, what you love about each other, and your hopes for the future.Using this, I will write a completely bespoke script. You’ll have full creative control to review the draft, tweak the vows, and approve every word before the wedding.

Step 4:

On your big day I’ll arrive early to set up (e.g. with the PA system), check in with the venue, and calm any pre-ceremony nerves. I’ll deliver the ceremony exactly as we planned—warm, engaging, and professional.Afterward, I’ll handle the final paperwork and register your marriage with Births, Deaths and Marriages so you can head off to your honeymoon officially wed!

Frequently asked questions

I primarily service Melbourne, Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula, and the Surf Coast. However, I love a road trip! I am more than happy to travel to regional Victoria or interstate for your big day. For locations more than 60 minutes drive from Geelong a modest travel fee will apply to cover time and fuel. I am also available to travel interstate or to regional Victoria outside my standard zones for an additional travel fee. Please inquire for a custom quote.

I handle all the heavy lifting. We will need to complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) form at least one month before your wedding date. You’ll need to provide original identification (like passports or birth certificates). After the ceremony, I submit all the paperwork to the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages to register your union officially.

Absolutely. Writing vows can be daunting, but it’s often the most beautiful part of the day. I can provide you with a "Vow Kit" full of examples, structures, and prompts to get you started. I’m also happy to review your drafts to make sure they flow perfectly (and keep them a secret from your partner until the big moment!).

I use a high-quality, battery-powered PA system that ensures your guests hear every word clearly. It also has Bluetooth connectivity, so we can play your chosen aisle and signing music directly through my speaker if your venue doesn't provide sound.

For the Signature and Ultimate packages, a rehearsal is an option we can discuss, though it is often not strictly necessary. Many couples prefer a quick run-through or "stand-up" discussion on site a few days prior, or we can simply have a detailed chat over Zoom to walk through the choreography so you feel confident on the day.
